About Melanie

Melanie was born and raised in Horry County. She has served on the Horry County School Board since 2021, helping our schools reset after COVID and get back to what's most important in education.

Focused on protecting students, supporting teachers, and building stronger schools for Horry County families.

Melanie lives in Conway with her husband David and they attend First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. They have two grown children, Madalyn, a teacher and David who works in the family business. They have also welcomed son-in-law Addison into their growing family.
